It’s a pirate’s life in One Piece Gear Spirit

After being announced right around the launch of the DS, the One Piece franchise is finally coming to the DS with One Piece Gear Spirit. A 3D fighter in the vein of the One Piece Grand Battle series, One Piece Gear Spirit features 20 characters and a Spirit Card system much like the Reifu Card system in the Bleach DS series. It also features multiplayer support for up to four players. From the commercials I've seen, the game seems to run extremely smoothly, and has some of the best graphics I've seen on the DS, as well as full voice acting. If the game turns out to play half as good as it looks, One Piece fans will not be disappointed with One Piece Gear Spirit. Check out the full roster past the break.

One Piece Gear Spirit's hefty roster includes:

Monkey D. Luffy
Roronoa Zoro
Nami
Usopp
Sanji
Tony Tony Chopper
Nico Robin
Franky
Red-Haired Shanks
Hawk-Eye Mihawk
Aokiji
Rob Lucci
Kaku
Smoker
Nefertari Vivi
Sir Crocodile
Enel
Brook
Portugas D. Ace
Blackbeard

One Piece Gear Spirit will be available on August 30th. One Piece fans will want to get this one as soon as possible!

Yeah seriously, I never expected Brook to make this roster. That’s awesome!

Levi Says:

Eek. I accidentally used Zoro’s dub name (Zolo)…I gotta fix that real quick. *lol*

Surprised nobody noticed that before I did, actually…>_>

ryne11 Says:

I noticed it. But more and more people been using “Zolo” lately, so I figured that was the norm

I was lol-ing more ad “Sajni”

Levi Says:

Aw crap. -_-

EvilGamerX Says:

Yay for another good One Piece game. If they take their time… we won’t get shit like Fighting For again. Good to see actual good anime games coming out (One Piece Unlimited Adventure, Jump Super/Ultimate Stars, Bleach DS, Eyeshield 21 DS, DBZ Sparking! series (Hyper Dimension is still the best)).
