Söldner-X coming to a Playstation 3 near you

I think we mentioned how Play-Asia is stepping into the publishing biz under the moniker eastasiasoft. Their first project is Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer, a shmup built for PCs sold in some kind of mystery bundle package for fifty smackers. You could get the PC version when it arrives this winter or you can wait for it to pop up on the Playstation Network. Sometime between winter 07/08 Söldner-X is scheduled for release on the Playstation 3. Play-Asia still has to work out critical kinks like the price and what regions Söldner-X will be released in. However, the only console it is scheduled to come out for is the Playstation 3. There is no Xbox 360 release in development, which is odd since Söldner-X is being developed for the PC. I wonder if someone made a deal with Sony to make it an exclusive or if the PS3 version will incorporate Sixaxis control.

I wonder how much Play-Asia is contemplating to sell Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer for on the PS3 via Playstation Network. If it’s even half the cost of the PC release, bringing the price tag down to a sweet $25 and keeping some extra money in my wallet, I’d buy this in an instant whenever it hits PSN.

@Veilknight – it’s got to be cheaper than the retail package. Similar to you I think it’s going to be $20-$25.
