sfiit.jpgSuper Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is coming to Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday for 800 Microsoft points ($10). Capcom also has plans to release Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix on the Playstation Store for the same price. Considering how expensive copies of Puzzle Fighter go for on eBay, Super Puzzle Fighter II HD Remix is a steal at only $10. Plus you get other new features like online play and a tweaked system that balances characters by changing their drop patterns.

Very awesome. I’m glad to see such a great classic is being brought to a medium where a lot of people can enjoy it, be it first timers or veterans.

hmm, i still have my ps1 and pc copies, yet this is still quite tempting. it’d be nice to have it ready to play at any time on my 360 in HD. i have a ps3 too, but i rarely turn it on, so 360 wins out there.

This is probably one of the 2-player games I spent the most time on, it was brutal in the arcades and friends could play it more leisurely on the playstation w/o putting in quarters.

Definitely picking this game, just need to decide to get it on the 360 or PS3, as my Xboxis not aways online (the ethernet cable gets in the way..)

I’m also opting for the 360 version of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix as well, although both should basically play the same. Since it’s going to be released for XBLA first on the 29th (whereas the PS3 version won’t see release until the 30th), might as well go for the one that’s up for download earlier. Achievements is also a nice incentive to keep playing while adding to the title’s replay ability, as if this puzzler wasn’t already addictive as it is.
