Sony released PSP firmware version 3.70 with a handful of new features:

- You can play music files while viewing photos

- Movies have support for sequential playback

- A new feature allows you to search through movie scenes

- Users can create and display custom themes

- Players can map buttons for PS3 remote play

The last feature is a brilliant addition, which gives remote play flexibility. Even if the visuals come out at lower resolution, playing a Playstation 3 game on the road is a neat feature. Perhaps some developers will be inspired to make a separate part of the game that you can only connect to through remote play. Something that compliments the game like the Chocobo mini game Squaresoft designed for the Pocketstation.

Damn, I never thought of that. I think it will be interesting to see if/or should I say: when developers do that. I wonder if it would be possible to have that secondary game have psp graphics as well. Two games in 1? I’ll buy that ps3 game!
