SNK Playmore put out a press release today detailing their TGS lineup, and it has a few things we already know about, as well as some new (and exciting) announcements. First is the King of Fighters Orochi Saga Collection, coming to the PS2, PSP, and Wii. This seems to be a US version of the KoF Orochi Collection that came out in Japan last year, though whether it will keep the online functionality of the Japanese version or not is unknown. Up next is Metal Slug 7 for the DS, which we previously reported on. Then there's two more collection games, one being Samurai Shodown Collection for the PS2 and Wii, and the other being SNK Arcade Classics. Samurai Shodown Collection is obviously a collection of Samurai Shodown games, though just how many will be on the disc is unknown as of right now. SNK Arcade Classics is a compilation of 16 Neo-Geo games, and the press release states that it will be heading to the PS2 and PSP, though it was recently announced that it will also make it's way to the Wii as well. Check out the rest of the announcements past the break.
Then, in addition to the console and handheld games, there's also five games heading to download services, and three new arcade games as well. First there's Samurai Shodown 2 and Metal Slug 3 heading to the XBOX Live Arcade, then there's Fatal Fury, World Heroes, and Magician Lord heading to the Wii Virtual Console. On the arcade side of things, SNK Playmore will be showing off new entries in the King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown series, titled The King of Fighters XII and Samurai Shodown Sen, respectively, as well as a sequel to The King of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation "A", fittingly titled The King of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation "A" 2. One thing that's for sure is that now is a pretty great time to be a fan of SNK.
