Star Ocean remake dated for December

To be precise, Star Ocean: First Departure for the PSP is coming out on December 27. And to celebrate the release of the game Square-Enix has a PSP-2000 bundle package. For 24,840 yen ($213) you get the Star Ocean: First Departure – Eternal Edition – bundle which has a slim PSP (presumably with work from Production I.G.?), the game and maybe (note the emphasis on the maybe) some other goodies.

 

Square-Enix chose an interesting time to release Star Ocean: First Departure. The date is one week after Final Fantasy IV DS and barely a month past the release date of the Dragon Quest IV remake. That’s a lot of remakes in such a short time span. Which, if any, do you plan on picking up?
