Tales of Destiny: Director’s Cut dated

toddc.jpgJapan gets it on January 31, 2008 and it comes in two flavors. There is the standard game alone version for 6090 yen ($53) and a premium box priced at 7140 yen ($62). Details have been rather scarce about what is being added to the Director’s Cut to warrant purchasing the game for a third time. That’s right a third time. Tales of Destiny originally came out for the PS1, then it was remade for the PS2 in 2006 and the Director’s Cut is coming in 2008.

“Japan gets it”… as opposed to ?? ;)

    A man can dream…

  • @jeffx – I wouldn’t be surprised if Namco Bandai releases this in North America. They probably knew this was coming too so they held off on releasing the PS2 remake so we could get the director’s cut instead.

I really hope this gets brought over. I have always been a big fan of the Tales series, as well as pretty 2D. I’m kinda curious about the extra content. I heard somewhere that you can choose Leon as the main character, though I’m not sure how extensive the new mode will be.
