Only for Playstation 3, Eternal Sonatas extra charactersYou might be at the end of Eternal Sonata (aka Trusty Bell: Chopin’s Dream). Maybe you earned the 1,000 achievement points and unlocked everything. However, you’re playing the incomplete version of Eternal Sonata.

 

Next year Eternal Sonata arrives on the Playstation 3 with bonus content. Non playable characters Serenade and Prince Crescendo join the party and Tri-Crecendo is adding extra story sequences. Ouch for early adopters. This is the one time I’m hoping Namco Bandai is going to sell extra content for Xbox 360 owners. I would much rather buy a $10 Eternal Sonata “never ending dream” expansion pack than a whole new game.

    Will this be for the PS3 in NA??? I am confused I really really want it to be on the PS3 cause I am planning to buy that with money saved.. and this game is on my list of RPGs i want to play but I dunt want to buy an XBOX360 just to play this game!!

    That is such BS. A total punk move on behalf of Namco Bandai. “Hey, here’s the game, pay us $60 for it.” (Later) “Oh, by the way, that wasn’t the entire game. If you want the entire game you have to pay $60 more.”

    At least when Tri-Ace did it with Star Ocean 3 they were forced to because of the bugs in the original version.

    @Simon – when I asked Namco Bandai about it at TGS they said they have not announced it for the USA at this time. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they announce it in the future.

    @Chris – Tell me about it, this happens so frequent nowadays, such a smack in the face, you can’t help but feel getting jipped. I’m not sure if I should import Lost Odyssey now, since the US version coming out two months later might have more contents. Actually though I need to get the PS3 version anyway if I want to play it in English again because the US Eternal Sonata is not region free.

    the game will definately reach US , it was successful in NA anyways
    The graphics were beautiful on 360 (even though i didnt play it xD) I hope it’ll be bright & beautiful on the ps3 too :)
    I know that a lot of ppl will bu ps3 jus to play ff13 am quite sure of it

    Oh and I also HIGHLY hope that they will leave the japanese voicing & eng subs in it too !!!!! or else ill be disapointed that 360 users got so
