“Heavenly” cameo in No More Heroes

I’m glad I’m not sick of hearing Heavenly Star yet because the song is everywhere. It’s in Lumines, it was in the Live Earth concert and a week ago it was playing in a Tokyo nightclub. Now it’s going to be in No More Heroes too in video form. Travis Touchdown can obtain a VHS tape (what no DVD?) with the music video and sit down to watch it. This can’t be the only video cassette hidden in No More Heroes. I wonder what videos are hidden …

Travis is such a nerd……

Me too, which is probably why I like this protagonist

Ugh.. the video and song is incredibly annoying. Especially the girl in it.. who isn’t even the actual singer.

Nice to see that Travis has a box of tissues handy when he watches TV.

yeah, he has a n64 and a VHS player, must take place in 1997, but he has a laser sword.

Seems like a nice cameo. Video cassettes seems like a nice addition to add unlockables to the game. Sadly (or hopefully) Heavenly Star will probably not be in the America verision of No More Heroes.

Tony Hawk’s used to use Video Tapes .. did they end up getting upgraded to DVDs or CDs in later games? I gave up playing post-THPS3

I was thinking that as soon as I saw this entry. Hopefully ubi-soft will man up and not remove it.
