Controlling skis with the Wii

nbski2.jpgUnlike Family Trainer: Athletic World, Family Ski doesn’t use the special mat. To play the game you hold the nunchuck and remote straight. Each one acts as a virtual ski… that’s in your hands. You mimic skiing motions like the parallel turn where you have to move the remote and nunchuck in tandem. However, when you want to recover from a fall you have to do illogical controller shaking. Namco Bandai never said Family Ski was going to be realistic, so I’ll let this go as long as Family Ski turns out much better than Go! Sports Ski.

Seems like a okay game. I’m not sure if it’s going to be better than Go Sports Ski, but it might be a okay ski game for Wii. I hope the Family series on Wii is good….
