Target bundles the PSP with five movies for Black Friday images

If you’re itching to watch UMD movies Target has something for you. Black Friday shoppers can pick up a PSP Core system (note: the standalone slim PSP has the core system branding) plus five movies for $169.99. The following movies are part of the bundle:

Casino Royale

Open Season

Jumanji

Air Force One

Talladega Nights

Granted it’s not the best deal for gamers. A free game or a memory stick would get more use than the Open Season UMD, but why should I complain. Free movies are better than nothing.

Because maybe now the PSP has some use as a movie player since it can do video out? =p

is this the new slim one?

Actually, I read this as 5 free movies with any PSP purchase, since it says "with purchase of a PSP game system" and doesn't say 'with purchase of core package'...In all likelihood, they're going to have the movies with in separate special package that they will give to you when you buy the PSP. The PSP in the picture is actually an earlier PSP (non-slim...the speakers would be visible on the top on a slim PSP) but I haven't seen a fat PSP in a Target store since September.
  • @TT - It should be the slim one since it's marked as the "Core"

@K_G - Good point! It does say "with purchase of a PSP game system", but it also mentions PSP Core system. You might be able to pull this off deal with a Daxter bundle if you're a little charming at the register.
