Discounted downloads, Microsoft introduces Xbox Live Arcade Hits

Over the past few months Microsoft has been testing the waters with temporary sales on Xbox Live Arcade games. On December 4^th (the day the new dashboard comes out) popular Xbox Live Arcade games tagged as Xbox Live Arcade Hits are getting permanent price drops. Essentially, Microsoft is unleashing the digital equivalent of their Platinum Hits program. In the future you might be able to save a few bucks on top downloads by being patient.

 

The first games labeled as Xbox Live Arcade Hits are:
