Dragon Quest V DS draws from the PS2 remake

On top of changing the entire game to 3D, ArtePiazza revised Dragon Quest V’s combat system. In the original Super Famicom release you could only have three people in your party. The PS2 remake bumps the party size from three heroes to four. The Nintendo DS remake, which is also being handled by ArtePiazza, lets players bring four fighters into combat. This probably means the Nintendo DS version will retain the increased difficulty level from the PlayStation 2 version. If it doesn't the Nintendo DS version will be ridiculously easy to complete! I'm guessing here, but it seems likely the NDS remake will include the playable extra monsters found in the PlayStation 2 version too. And with any luck, Square-Enix will bring this over to North America so we can finally participate in the Bianca versus Flora debate.
