AtomKing of Fighters ’98: Ultimate Match coming to North America
The headline really says it all. We will see it sometime in Q4 2008 and unlike the recent multiplatform releases King of Fighters ’98: Ultimate Match will only be for the PlayStation 2. What makes this the “ultimate” version of King of Fighters ’98? Ten characters are added to the roster for a total of 64 and players have options to customize their fighting style.
If you can’t wait until later this year, SNK is releasing this in Japan in March. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to the US version come out at a more wallet friendly price point. Patience pays.

March, eh? I’m far too impatient to wait until Q4. But on the other hand, I need to support 2D fighters in North America. Oh well, looks like I’m buying another game twice.

Great to get new chars, animations, backgrounds…and I hope they’ll keep critical hits!

Great news, King of Fighters 98 was one of the best KoF games for me, so I´m very interested in playing this one.
