Commandos: Steel Disaster marches towards a May release

cm.jpgI mentioned Lexicon Entertainment’s Metal Slug inspired Nintendo DS game a few months ago because it doesn’t look half bad. Actually, it looks pretty good if you are into side scrolling shooters. 07 Commandos: Steel Disaster has seven stages (five regular, two hidden) and an alternate collect-a-thon challenge where players scour the levels for data discs. And yes, like Metal Slug you can jump into vehicles.

Europe gets Commandos: Steel Disaster on May 9th, with no corresponding North American release. Hopefully, someone picks this up so I don’t have to fork over £29.99 ($60!!) plus importing fees for the European copy. I think a much more reasonable $20 price tag is fitting for Commandos: Steel Disaster.

I think an American company would be smart to pick this one up, it could do fairly well.
