AtomImagine Ubisoft Harvest Moon?
When I think of farming video games the only thing that comes to my mind is Harvest Moon. Marvelous and Natsume in North America pretty much have a monopoly on the genre.
Enter Ubisoft.
The Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle (i.e. German equivalent of the ESRB) has a rating for Farm Life, a Nintendo DS game. I doubt this will be part of their Tom Clancy franchise. (Although, Tom Clancy: Farm Life has a nice ring to it… ) This rating is probably for an all new game either for an all new game or an entry in Ubisoft’s growing line up of Imagine games.
Speaking of the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle and Ubisoft there is a rating for Midnight Play Pack as a DS game too, which sounds like another casual title.

Well it certainly can’t be worse than John Deere: Harvest for the Heartland for DS. I still curse Destineer for sending me that to review, and coincidentally I haven’t motivated myself to write it up quite yet.
But it depends on who develops this on whether or not I’ll be interested and what style of game they choose to make it.

Seems like sour grapes from Ubisoft.
They screw over Marvelous by releasing then not releasing the Harvest Moon games so now they make their own franchise.(Although to be fair they did let Natsume do the work first and they seem to take their time now and days.)
I think I am going to let IGN review this one for me.

@alice - If Ubisoft actually made Assassins Creed: Farm Life I might buy it. Your idea is hilarious.

I didn’t care much for the Imagine series, so I doubt Natsume has anything to fear. Although, in terms of clones, there’s already John Deere: Harvest In The Heartland…
