Play-Asia knocks 20% off all in stock items

To celebrate Easter Play-Asia is dropping 20% off everything as long as it is on their shelves. This deal comes at an opportune time for eager Nintendo Wii owners who just got a Freeloader. Many Japan-only Wii games like Eyeshield 21, Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX and the Simple Wii Series Vol. 4: The DokoDemo Asoberu - The Shooting Action are under $20.

Stuff seems to be going pretty fast since Echochrome (both versions), Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, the US version of Super Smash Brothers Brawl are out of stock.

However there are still some great deals like Lost Odyssey Asian version (works with PAL 360s) for $39, Dual Shock 3 controllers for $47 and Ouendan 2 for only $24. That’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen it!

The deal runs until March 31st, which means you have some time to shop unless everything disappears.

I caught sight of this promo first thing this morning. The white & silver slim PSP were both 20% off, I took my sweet time deciding btwn the two color and now their price went back up :(

Man, should’ve been a no brainer, I’ve always wanted white w/o the Vader head, was worried it would get dirty easily or the silver being too glittered not having seen it up close.

BTW, I bought Hajime no Ippo recently, and it does not work w/ the Wii freeloader, what a downer.

Nice - this finally convinced me to import Soma Bringer. I’ve never actually imported a Japanese game - any essentials I’m missing out on? I play a lot of handheld RPGs and adventure-style games, but those tend to be text-heavy and tough on non-Japanese speakers.

Hmm… I don’t think everything is 20% off like they’re advertising. I’ve been eyeing the recently releases Rockman & Rockman X 20th Anniversary Design Works books that Play-asia listed earlier this week.

It’s still showing the full $39.99 price. The Space Invaders Extreme Zunata OST is also fully priced at $24.99.

Bummer. At least I’ll pick up some PSP accessories I’ve been eyeing for a while.

@Angelous - Ah! You’re right. The e-mail says it does though… hmm… it looks like products that are brand new like that came out today aren’t on sale. Perhaps, Play-Asia will adjust the price as the sale progresses.
