Square Enix Music has launched a new promotional page, this time for the original soundtrack to Star Ocean Second Evolution for the PSP, composed and arranged by series veteran Motoi Sakuraba. As with the OST for the previous Star Ocean remake, the music to Second Evolution will come on two discs and include a DVD insert. The extra disc will include a video of the game's opening, a promotional movie, and a character album featuring content from the Super Famicom title.
Star Ocean Second Evolution Original Soundtrack is scheduled to go on sale May 2 for a retail price of 3000 yen, but there's no need to wait until then to hear tracks from the game. Six samples are up on the website under the "Check" section.
An album of arranged music from the same title is also scheduled to be released on May 21. More about that item will be posted as details emerge.

It makes me sad that we probably won’t see this game in North America until Q2 2009 (at the earliest). That’s if Square-Enix decides to localize this one for us at all. :(
