I don't think Mistwalker designed them with the Master's Secret Script in mind since it was future DLC. Maybe that was to help out gamers new to RPGs who heard about the game from friends.I was surprised that I had to level up in Final Fantasy IV myself. I died a few times falling for traps designed for veterans. Hahaha.@krypt - Yeah Matrix Software did this and FF3. ArtePiazza is doing the DQ4/DQ5 remakes they also did Dragon Quest V PS2 remake.

@Aoshi00 – Yeah the Lost Odyssey bosses were very taxing, but on the other hand Weapon Guard II made them too easy. Interestingly enough, they also did the Dragon Quest IV port for the DS.

Ah, it was Matrix software (Alundra, FF3 DS, DQ5r PS2). They were thrilling to play because you're always trying to stay alive from some uber-attack that could wipe out your party (Lost Odyssey bosses were hard too w/o the master script).I fought Cagnazzo for at least 3 to 4 times.. and it's better to lvl up a bit before tackling some bosses in the later part of the game.. but yeah, the encountering is pretty high, sometimes it gets a little annoying.

The boss fights were definitely amped up and very challenging.
