Naruto to fall on Nintendo consoles this autumn?

narutorpg2.jpgTomy of Japan is plenty busy with the Naruto license. What about Tomy USA? I’m pretty sure they are too if these entries in EB Games’ database are correct. According to the retailer, Naruto: Path of Ninja 2 is coming out this September. This isn’t an unlikely scenario considering Tomy released Naruto: Path of Ninja, a revised version of their Game Boy Advance Naruto RPG, in North America last year. One possibility is Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan (pictured) will be Naruto: Path of Ninja 2 when it’s released.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 for the Wii is likely to be Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2. I doubt Tomy is going to port Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 to the Wii since it came out in North America. I played the Japanese Shippuden counterpart, Naurto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX 2, last year and it included features like seals and stage traps.

Surprisingly, the post time skip characters handled a little bit too much like their equivalents in Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution. Yes, Tomy released content found in the US Clash of Ninja series first then adapted it for Japan. I’m intrigued to see what they’re planning for the inevitable follow up to Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution.
