AtomNew Dissidia: Final Fantasy Images
It's been about half a year since we last heard anything new about Dissidia: Final Fantasy. While the gameplay has already been explained, the full character roster has yet to be revealed. Your guesses as to who will make up the remaining cast are as good as mine, but that's another topic for another day. For now, take comfort in knowing that the game is still alive with an update to boot.
The official Japanese site for Dissidia: Final Fantasy has updated the Character, Story, and Info sections of the site along with nice, fresh screencaps of the game. I think it's safe to say that Dissidia: Final Fantasy looks really gorgous and, like Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Slep, really seems to be making full use of the PSP's hardware. The official site also plays the Final Fantasy theme we've all come to love.

The game is made up of main character and final boss parings from FFI,II,VIII,IX, and X
Obviously Cloud and Sephiroth are both in there even though they are not pictured… so that covers VII
but what about VI?
Terra and Kefka would make awesome additions to this game. (esp with Terra being able to switch between human and esper form)

Ugh, they need to put an end to these crappy fanservice fighters! Only Capcom has managed to make good ones.

It looks interesting. But, as Tom said-generally these games are fan service. They aren’t really great hardcore fighter games. But, as long as people have fun with it. It will do fine.
