Digging for differences in Dragon Quest IV

Digging for differences in Dragon Quest IV imagesSimilar to Final Fantasy IV DS, we played Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen and the experience of playing Dragon Quest IV at E3 is limiting. I cut to the chase and asked a Square Enix representative if they made any changes from the Japanese build.

The Japanese version of Dragon Quest IV has text introductions for each chapter, while the North American version has text introductions plus graphic stills from Akira Toriyama’s Bird Studio. An idea was to make Dragon Quest IV more cinematic, but they weren’t able to do it.

Dragon Quest fans might be happy to know Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride is tentatively scheduled to come out in North America within this fiscal year. If the game remains on track we should be courting the brand new bride in North America by March 31, 2009.

Persona 4 contest code: Izanagi.

Nice they added some illustration to the US version, I suppose it's kind of like Eternal Sonata, in the Jpn ver. Trusty Bell the intermission only has one still drawinglasting thru minutes, while the Eng. version has a slideshow of various photos, can't wait till the US PS3 version.
