Bomberman Live bundled with 12 months of Xbox Live

Hold off on renewing your Xbox Live account. Xbox Live subscription bundles are imminent. Microsoft just announced one for Japan which contains 12 months of Xbox Live, a headset, Bomberman Live usually sold for 1200 Microsoft Points / $15, and 200 Microsoft Points for 6090 yen ($56). All of this stuff sold separately adds up to 9,054 yen ($84). This package is OK. Just OK. I know the headset looks unnecessary, but only the Xbox Elite comes with the accessory in Japan. The 20GB Xbox 360 Pro comes standard with the media remote so this is actually useful. The 200 Microsoft Points are less so. You can’t buy a game with a measly 200 Microsoft Points. You can’t even get the Destructoid Bomberman expansion pack with the bonus credit.

The rumored Xbox Live bundle for North America with Project Gotham Racing 4 and messenger pad looks far better in comparison.
