RealNetworks Bringing Boingz To Wii, What Is Boingz?

We knew RealNetworks, the company behind RealArcade, had plans to start making console games thanks to an executive comment from CES. According to an ESRB rating, Boingz is going to be one of these games. Unfortunately we don’t know anything about it other than it’s in development for the Wii. A pragmatic guess is this will be a future WiiWare released. Boingz, whatever it is, is a surprising choice since RealNetworks has tons of games already finished sitting in RealArcade. Too bad Electronic Arts has the license to make Scrabble games now. A WiiWare version of their existing Scrabble game with online play and 100% less adware could have been an easy hit for RealNetworks.
