Ninety Nine Nights 2 Coming From Q Entertainment

n32A sequel to Ninety Nine Nights, Q Entertainment’s take on Dynasty Warriors is in development.  Details are absolutely scarce other than the game exists and it might be called Ninety Nine Nights 2. Microsoft still isn’t sure about that. Will Inphy return to slaughter more goblins and face ninety nine days of darkness again? Maybe, but that would totally ruin the flimsy plot from the first game.

I think this first was possibly the worst game on the 360.

Also, Spencer, you’re missing the ridiculously extraneous “y” from “Inphyy”.

No, the honor of the worst game on 360 would belong to Vampire Rain.

I am actually looking forward to a sequel. I liked 99 Nights, but then again Dynasty Warrior-Musou type games are a guilty pleasure of mine. I was not a fan of some of the choices they made in the first game (non-sensical story, weird names, the steep difficulty for some levels, and the annoying fact that bosses would only take damage by using a specific combo or certain attack), but hopefully these issues will be addressed in the sequel…

I had other issues with the game:

    Crashing after long cutscenes
Loot being dropped in unreachable areas.
Loot being unclaimable because a cutscene immediately followed a battle.
Retarded ally AI in missions where your have to protect your ally.

Dynasty Warriors games are a guilty pleasure of mine. I think I’ve played all of them, including expansion packs since DW2. But non-Koei entities always screw up the formula. Every time I play one of the knockoffs it just makes me wish I was playing a “Warriors” title.

I’m willing to give it another shot now that they’ve switched from Phantagram to feelplus for the development. N3 could’ve been great imo, but was seriously rushed.

This is actually one of my favorite xbox 360 games and I AM SO HAPPY they’ve announced sequel. Maybe now some of those awesome secondary characters will be playable.
