Away: Shuffle Dungeon Released Into US Stores Early?

By Spencer . October 28, 2008 . 11:15am

awaysd At the last minute Majesco shuffled the release date for Away: Shuffle Dungeon from October to December. Hopefully, this extra time will give someone a chance to balance the difficulty so Away: Shuffle Dungeon isn’t a walk in the park.

So, if Away: Shuffle Dungeon got delayed why is it in stock and shipping at Gamestop? This could be a mistake since Amazon and other online retailers don’t have the game yet. If someone sees the game in a store or has a US copy please let us know!

It’s definitely out. It has a slight/huge Soul Blazer vibe that I didn’t expect. The hero is a bit on the arrogant side, almost wish he was the silent protagonist type. I don’t really like his character design either, what with the tiny legs and arms.

it’s on the internet. the rom i mean.

I had it pre-ordered online at gamestop — the local store didn’t have it in their systems. it was originally oct 21st, for 2 days they pushed it back to Dec 2nd, and then they shipped it (changing the date back) to Oct. 23rd. You can get it now!

The ROM is out, so someone out there must have gotten their hands on the game.

Thanks for the information everyone. I guess the verdict is Away is out and that means Majesco won’t be working on polishing the game. The delay must have been for marketing reasons or to better position it.

I think Majesco screwed this release big time, still some online stores says december and alot of people in gamefaqs think its december,
yet some stores are selling it and the rom is leaked I expect even worse sales than my pessimistic expectation Mystwalker is just unlucky.
