Phantasy Star Zero Crosses Over With Other Sega Games

Recommended Videos

Sega is promoting Phantasy Star Zero pre-orders with a pack of guest weapon trading cards. These special items are: Selvaria’s Spear from Valkyria Chronicles, Valiant from Blazer Drive, and the Gunsword Blade Cannon from Shining Wind. Sorry, if you were expecting the gun from Shadow the Hedgehog or anything like that. The only comical item is a scallion from Hatsune Miku’s game. Each trading card has a password for a special site to unlock the digital content.

Phantasy Star Zero hasn’t been announced for North America yet. While it seems likely Phantasy Star Zero will be released here I wonder if Sega will modify the promotion. Shining Wind was never released in North America and chances are we’re not going to get Blazer Drive or Hatsune Miku – Project Diva -. Sega USA could throw in a gun from the Conduit or a chainsaw from MadWorld to make the promotion more relevant for the West.
