Lloyd Irving Appears In Everything These Days

By Spencer . November 6, 2008 . 12:11pm

ltoh Tales of Symphonia’s lead character gets around. He already got cameo role in Soulcalibur Legends and a “villain” role in Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World. This December Lloyd Irving is going to be in Tales of Hearts too as a support character. Other Tales alumni in the game include Judas from Tales of Destiny 2 and Jade from Tales of the Abyss. Unfortunately, these bonus characters aren’t part of the story. They aren’t even playable like Shing or Kohak. Support characters that function more like a Marvel vs. Capcom assist or a Final Fantasy summon.

Ugh! C’mon Hometek, bring this one over!

  • Pichi

I was hoping for playable, darn. But nice cameos, nonetheless.

  • Jay

Awesome, maybe Lloyd Irving will be reason enough for Namco to localize it.

  • Kaelin

Please, please, please localize, Namco/Bandai! The good thing is that a translation team will most likely be all over it for some sort of homebrew, but I’d much rather have an official and, ya know, legal release as an option. No idea why they’ve yet to bring over the extant DS titles–they’d sell like hotcakes!

@Kaelin: because Namco-Bandai is brain dead! I’m really angry at them, they always do this BS with handheld entries into tale of. >:(

This is starting to get overdone. a few cameos are fine, but its starting to be too much.
