Etrian Odyssey II Very, Very Cheap For One Day Only

imageBlack Friday passed, but there are still video game deals for last minute shoppers. Recently Amazon has been clearing out their stock of Atlus games and today they’re having a fire sale on Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard. The dungeon crawler is only $11.98 today since it’s Amazon’s Deal of the Day.

Also somewhat related is Amazon’s 15 Days, 15 Deals promotion where they’re revealing a new discounted game every day. Today’s deal is a Guitar Hero World Tour guitar kit pack for $59.98 or $69.98 if you get the Wii version. It’s reasonably priced if you need a new guitar, but I think I’ve had my fill of Guitar Hero along time ago.

  • Last night, I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any more games or books until the new year. Since then, I’ve bought this and Jeremy Parish’s Gamespite print edition. I’m so very weak.

Unfortunately, I think the deal is sold out.

EO2 reads for 25 dollars now.

  • It’s worth $25 as well, if you ask me (you didn’t, but I just KNOW you wanted to). I’m looking forward to EO3… eventually. Just… let my wallet catch its breath for a while, okay, Atlus?

Dang I missed out on this. And this was about what I would like to pay for it too. Oh well.

My local EB has it for 19.99. Which sucks because I bought it for 30$ on release day, and the city I was living in at the time only had two copies in the ENTIRE CITY (I checked since the pre-order didn’t come in until 2 weeks after the release date). Now it’s everywhere for 10$ less.

The first one is a pretty rare find. It seems like just after Izuna or Luminous Arc was released, people just stopped buying Atlus games on the DS. What up with that?
