Dissidia: Final Fantasy Ads Take Over Shinjuku Station images

Square Enix wants to make sure Japan, well at least Tokyo, is aware of Dissidia: Final Fantasy’s release. For a limited time daily commuters passing through Shinjuku Station get a tour through the history of Final Fantasy. These posters are a part of a massive ad campaign where all the heroes/villain combinations span the walls of the Keio underground walkway.

This isn’t the only marketing blitz for Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Square Enix and Sony are also running TV ads. Even the Dissidia: Final Fantasy potion has it’s own commercial.

P.S. In case you didn’t know Dissidia: Final Fantasy comes out tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up on the realease looks like i need to avoid the internet just like when crisis core came out, I like all spoilers to be a secret even for a game like this ^_^

I saw this on JRs platform at Shinjuku too. But didnt make it over to Keio. I saw a different advertisement than what is pictured here.
  • The people of Shinjuku do not need a daily reminder that Shinjuku is a prime target for an attack by magical cosplaying terrorists dressed in capes and ornate armor. I demand they be taken down.

This game doesn't appeal me as much as Crisis Core, so I wouldn't get it on day 1..

Looking at the above is kind of ironic, the subway in Jpn (or other countries) makes NYC subway look like a dump, and now they're putting extra tax on non-diet soft drinks too!
