Less than a year after Valkyria Chronicles was released in Japan it’s joining Sony’s PlayStation 3 The Best collection. The yellow striped re-release goes for 3,990 yen ($43) which means its half off. Valkyria Chronicles originally went on sale for 7,980 yen ($88) when it came out last April.
In addition to the game the PlayStation 3 the Best version also includes the downloadable story episode with Edie, usually sold separately on the PlayStation Store for 600 yen ($7). Would be nice if Sega ran the same deal here, but right now it’s way too early for us to get a Greatest Hits version of Valkyria Chronicles. Ten months have to pass and Valkyria Chronicles needs to sell half a million copies before this can happen.
