Sega blends fantasy and reality with their Yakuza series. Past games tied in products like Suntory beverages and we-have-everything discount retailer Don Quijote. Yakuza 3 will go a step further and let Kiryu Kazuma have a meal in Matsuya.
Matsuya is a fast food chain in Japan that deals local cuisine like Japanese curry rice plates. The chain is best known for being a beef bowl vendor. Here’s what the restaurant looks like in the PlayStation 3 game.
Once you’re done eating you can bring Kiryu to Karaoke-kan for a “singing” mini-game. If you ever wander around Shinjuku or Shibuya you’ll notice one of these. Karaoke-kan booths are found in dense areas, commonly close to train stations.
