Avalon Code Books Release On March 10

After a series of delays Avalon Code will squeak into stores on March 10. The game starts with a choice of hero, either male or female, and a quest to recreate a dying world with the Book of Prophecy. This item acts sort of like a weapon too since you can slam the book on enemies and rearrange their weakness. Players can also use the book to to customize weapons by rearranging parameters.

Matrix Software, the team behind the Final Fantasy DS remakes, developed Avalon Code and visually it looks fantastic. If you haven’t seen the game before watch this trailer uploaded by Volcynika (thanks!!).

As a new franchise Avalon Code might fall to the wayside with tons of other portable RPGs in stores and coming in the near future. Is anyone going to pick Avalon Code up?
