What they need to do though is add the Hoenn Region to this game.

If they are planning on expanding the game, what about the Hoenn Region? It'll be the only Region not upgraded to the DS version (Kanto is included already for the HeartGold/SoulSilver).

i want soul silver coz im a lugia fan + i also like groudon. u get kyogre in heart gold and groudon in soul silver. if u trade them from soul silver to heart gold rayquaza appears!!!!

because of this news I checked my silver and crystal carts and yes the battery is dead in both. Surprisingly, the older blue cart is still functional :0 :D

pokemon is very nice at last instead of completing my pokedex in emerald and migrating il use this game to complete patialy of my pokedex in pearl

Its offically confirmed now(Ign.com) that there are going to be gold and sliver remakes for the ds by this fall for japan. the games are going by pokemon:heart gold and pokemon:soul silver.

Hmmm, this is a tough one… Even tough I absolutely LOVED my Gold game, I don't know if another remake could quench my Pokemon gaming thirst for the coming years. That being said, Maybe this time they could add even more (all?) regions in the game, starting in Johto, taking the Train to Kanto, then the S.S. Anne to Hoenn and lastly ending up in Sinnoh… Oh well, let's keep dreaming for now.. ;)
