Onechanbara Developers Behind Hostess Game

By Spencer . May 26, 2009 . 12:17am

Dream C Club has players visit a hostess bar, chat up the staff, and try to date one of the girls. While different from The Idolm@ster, Dream C Club caters to the same crowd. This could be another cult hit for D3 Publisher and developer Tamsoft.

Tamsoft worked with D3 Publisher before on the Onechanbara games and a bunch of other Simple Series titles. Sound AMS, the company that handled audio for Rumble Roses and a slew of Smackdown vs. RAW games, is doing the music. The culmination of all their efforts can be seen in this trailer where Amane sings karaoke.

Dream C Club arrives in Japan on August 27.

Hey, a few of those companies had a hand in games that were eventually released outside Japan, so do you think….?

  • perron

Sadly, it has as much of a chance as visual novels. Not even Idolmaster got brought over.

Besides, I'd imagine the dub work on this game to be something I might not stand so if it does somehow make it over I'd like the Japanese language.

    But …the connections!
Well, I guess it's true what they say; only the dead have seen the end of war.

Same effect as watching hentia and listening to bad jpop so no thanks.

So was this song performed after, or before you as the player get the girl drunk?
