By Ishaan . June 4, 2009 . 8:52am

A new red DSi pictured above will be go on sale in Japan on July 11. Shortly thereafter, it will be followed by a stealth announced Chibi Robo DS game.

Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Oosouji (loosely Welcome Home Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Big Sweep) is scheduled to come out on July 23.

Punch Out!! will be retailing for ¥5,800 on July 25. Will be interesting to see if this garners any attention in Japan, but I can’t imagine that happening.

  • Yay for Chibi Robo! The games are just so relaxing and adorable!

  • Yay new Chibi Robo!

Though I didn’t like the last DS one. :(

    Still, Yay new Chibi Robo!

  • I just read today that the co-director of the original Chibi Robo, Kenichi Nishi, also wrote and designed the PS1 game Incredible Crisis.
That is near my all time favorite games. Too bad there was never a sequel to Crisis, but I’ll (finally) check out Robo and the other games he has been involved in as of late.

    • GhaleonQ

You’re missing out, Matty. Play all of his (and his companies’) games.

  • Katha

Oh yesss, a new Chibi Robo! I’ve been waiting for this hehehe
