Today Must Be From Software PSP Trailer Day

By Spencer . June 11, 2009 . 10:32am

Armored Core developer and PSP master porter From Software uploaded a bunch of videos for  Onore no Shinzuru Michi wo Yuke. The gorgeous ninja puzzle game came out in Japan today.

In just a few months another ninja game, albeit a familiar one, will come out on the PSP. Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven Portable is slated for August. The first trailer is underneath all of the Oreike ones.

Ah! That first game looks really fun and I dig the art style. “Ukiyoe”, is it? Off the top of my head, Okami and Oboro Muramasa come to mind as having similar music and maybe art (not the same as this PSP game), but I feel that we could use more games that seem painfully Japanese in these ways. But I’m generalizing. Maybe it’s just the music that captures me. I don’t know.

  • Onore no Shinzuru Michi wo Yuke looks awesome, and From Software is usually quite generous with games being brought over so I hope this is coming.

As for Tenchu, I already own the PS2 version so I have little reason to buy that one atm.

The music for Onore no Shinzuru Michi wo Yuke reminds me of some of the music from the Wario Ware series, as well as the Caligraphy stage in the GBA Rhythm Tengoku.

The music reminds me of Goemon/Mystical Ninja. I want to play the Shinsengumi game..

  • This is the first time I’m hearing of this game… The artwork is GORGEOUS. I’ll have to keep this on my radar.
