Let’s Party Appears To Be Let’s Tap’s Sequel

image Despite weak sales in Japan, Sega took a chance and released Prope’s “future tapping game” in North America. It didn’t get much attention here either, but Sega isn’t giving up on their series of Let’s games.


Sega trademarked Let’s Party for use with video game software and “providing on-line games”. Seems like a good sign that Let’s Party is going to have some kind of online mode. Good to see Prope doing something, but I secretly hoped Sega would use the name Toy-Lets, which they trademarked in Japan.

    I think Let’s Tap would’ve been more successful had the games been broken down a released piecemeal on WiiWare or something. Sort of like what they’re doing for electroplankton on DSiWare.

  • Wait, that game came out here? I seem to miss more things coming out stateside than overseas.

    Ya know what’s surprisingly fun and relaxing: Let’s Catch. The premise sounds inane on paper, but I found myself, for a time, playing it heavily.

    • Let’s Catch was a surprisingly fun WiiWare game. It’s simple, but addictive.

    Didn’t Naka say Prope was also working on a “mascot platformer”? What happened to that?

    • Oh yeah! I recall something like that was said before. Maybe this project isn’t Prope’s?
