Namco Bandai will release a multiplayer God Eater demo on the PlayStation Store next week. But, why wait when you can play it now.

Famitsu has the demo, packaged in a 140MB file. Download it, unzip it, and copy it to your PSP’s memory stick and you’ll be hunting Aragami in no time. Characters from the demo can be transferred to the full game when God Eater is released in Japan on February 4, 2010.

Ive been playing this for the past few hours and i have to say this game is pretty amazing, it might not have the instant recognition as Monster Hunter does yet but it certainly has a chance to become a Monster Hunter contender.

So far ive only been playing it single player, i need to get on ad=hoc and play with some other folks to actually get a real feel for the game.

  • I take it the download isn’t worth it if you can’t read/understand japanese?

    • Randgriz

      No, it is worth it.
A tutorial is a tutorial, no matter what language it comes in there will always be diagrams to help you progress.

Its the same for God Eater

Of all the demos I’ve downloaded outside of the PSN, why was the Disaster Report 3 Japanese demo (which you’ve talked about a while ago) so different to the rest of the demos? Most Japanese demos I get come in an eboot file, but the Disaster Report 3 demo came in a different format, and I’ve still yet to find an eboot version of the demo.

Anyway, I will be enjoying this demo. ;)

Yeah this game is fun. A great alternative to monster hunter.

rar, hey guys, I’m just posting back having spend a good evening with God Eater, I’ve written a quick FAQ for navigating the menus easier, and some of the basic game play elements. It’s not 100% but I haven’t seen anything else posted so far so I figured it might be helpful for anyone wanting to give it a shot, but not wanting to be bothered with the Japanese menus.
