Play Asia Giving Out Coupons, Hints At Black Friday Deals Heads up if you want Play-Asia coupons. Their holiday newsletter contains $8 off $50 and $12 off $100 coupons. If you’re on their mailing list, you have them already. If not you can still get them. The staff at Play-Asia said if you sign up before Monday you’ll be able to get the coupons.

 

They also mentioned upcoming Black Friday discounts where “7 products [will be] massively reduced.”

    Probably going to use the $8 coupon and grab a couple Simple Series games, just to get them out of my system and into my DS. Hm.. can’t really think of anything to get anything for $100.

    It’s a long shot, but I hope one of those reduced items is an Xbox 360. A PS3 is okay, too.

    That’s a good way to save $8 on the expensive FF XIII for those who are importing. I alrdy made a big order for over $100 of soundtracks 2 weeks ago, at first I was like “shoot, should’ve waited until now to use the $12 coupon”, but then I see the price of those CDs & shipping went up a bit, so it would have actually been the same..I have my eyes set on several other games, but just to be on the safe side, I would wait until Black Friday.

    Damn it, Play-Asia’s timing or offers never coincide with my buying schedule. Now I’ll need to think of something to buy just so I can take advantage of the heavy discounts.

      yeah, tell me about it, I just pre-ordered all the things I need from P/A several weeks ago, and I was scrambling for coupons then. Now there are even better ones, and I was thinking hard since yesterday on how to best take advantage of them (because I don’t actually “need” anything, that’s how they get you w/ Thanksgiving, lol…) I know one game I want to get is the new Layton DS game.       Now I’m kinda glad I held off. I finally convinced myself to buy Harukanaru Toki no Nakade 2 (the best version), but figured I’d wait till that and the $5 coupon arrived to order Ranshima Monogatari Rare Land Story or Kurayami no Hate de Kimi o Matsu . Glad I did!

          I wish I could. I may spring for Ranshima, but the $58 Arabians Lost is too much for me. My friend had the PS2 version a year or two ago, and it looked like the coolest and funniest thing ever. The plot was hilarious and I loved the RPG elements tossed in.

          I’m not sure about Hakuouki. My friend in Japan bought the PSP one and she wasn’t impressed, so I’m going to pass on it.

    More reason to buy Mushihimesama Futari for the 360 when it comes out.

      If my Mushihime-sama Limited Edition order fell thru due to limited qty, I would get the regular edition w/ the coupon.

      I want to get Dodonpachi 360 too, they say gameplay and music are awesome but game plagued by horrible bugs like bad loading time and cumbersome menu.. :(

    Birth By Sleep here I come! I also wouldn’t mind some Y’s 7, FF13 or TOV-PS3 edition. So many choices but BBS is a must. Thanks siliconera, I never check my email lol.
