Daily Xbox Live Discounts For The Holidays

Microsoft is about to run an advent calendar-style (read: Christmas countdown) promotion where movies and games, depending on your location, will be discounted for one day only.

The news comes from Q Entertainment’s twitter account, which informs us Rez HD will be one of the discounted items. However, you need to be in Mexico, Portugal, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Singapore to take advantage of the deal.

Residents in other territories like North America, Canada, and Europe will be able to get special deals in the video marketplace. Content has not been announced, but we’ll be on the lookout for more leaks.

Boo, nothing for the US :(.. On the video side, the PS3 is starting to shape up since you can do finally do Netflix streaming now (w/o the need to pay for Gold Live, I know there were Roku player and others before). I just ordered the install disc from Netflix.
