Who Is This Gust Character? A New Atelier Star?

By Spencer . January 7, 2010 . 8:39am

imageFamitsu posted a New Year’s greeting card from Gust with a girl holding what appears to be a giant key.

The pink haired girl hasn’t appeared in any game before so who is she? Famitsu surmises this card and character point at a new entry in Gust’s long running Atelier series.

Clever tease, huh? NIS America used to do something similar with their Christmas cards. In past years, they had art hinting at future releases like Soul Nomad.

    I want new Atelier

We’re promised Atelier Rorona ‘Spring’. Given they haven’t shown anything off of the localised version, I think they’re being optimistic.

Still, it’s not like March is short of games, the number of quality releases that month is insane.

Really, I’m almost positive Rorona was slated for “Summer.”

More than likely a new Atelier game.
Salburg.com has a link up, but I can’t read the Kanji and most of the Katakana, so I have no idea what it says.
If someone wants to decipher it for us (please? =D) then head over to salburg.com.

Very cute! Although, the big hat, extremely long hair, and oversized key made me notice her large head even more!

I don´t have enough funds for all these games coming out so soon or being announced and what not :p

Stop teasing me. I need to recover from the old games I want first before getting to know this kind of thing.

Nice image though. Wonder where that key leads to.

i hope that’s characters from mana khemia3 or atelier series

    • Xien12

Mana Khemia has a different artist, so that’s a no go. All likelihood is that it’ll be another Atelier simulator rpg.
