Yeah, I remember that one, shown behind closed door in a S-E party (like the main guy is supposed to be a prince and the girl a princess from a different country, or something..), I forgot if it was pre-rendered or real-time, but I would hardly call that impossible to port to 360.. I hope the story would make some sense instead of just all style.

Have we seen any actual in-game footages other than pre-rendered FMVs for XIII Versus? Since XIII was quite lackluster w/ its story, I hope Versus would do a better job, but I wouldn't get my hopes up w/ its VII Turks-like cast. MGS4 was very good in every aspect since Kojima was demanding w/ the game's final quality, S-E should learn a thing or two from him instead of only depending on brand recognition.

Well Hideo Kojima himself said that the 360 wasn't strong enough to handle MGS4 and, from what i've seen, Versus XIII looks to be graphically superior to MGS4. If the 360 can't run MGS4 i highly doubt it can run something that's more advanced than MGS4.

Oh right. Because it said Xbox 360, it MUST be in development for it. I remember when Left 4 Dead 2 and Mass Effect 2 were listed on some sites, including EA's for ME2 as on the PS3. Did those 2 games go to the PS3? NO.

Basically, don't get your hopes up too much. All games get rumoured to go onto another console at some point before the game is out. I remember when some sites were saying Uncharted 2 would be on the 360. That's laughable, because Sony owns Naughty Dog!!

That's the word supposedly. I know in one interview, he talked up the power of the PS3 (not sure if it was for XIII itself or Versus) and said it allowed them to create what they needed to.

I think I'll avoid FFXIV like the plague based solely on the fact that FFXI was a pain to play after getting 10 or so levels. I got up to around level 50 before I got sick of it, though there were numerous other problems with the game, including the community.

Didn't they pretty much say the same thing about FFXIII, though? And please don't do the “360 isn't powerful enough”, because each is crappier than the other in one way or another. If you were talking PC, I could see it, though.

Final Fantasy is a totally different game from Star Ocean and Last Remnant. Final Fantasy has name power, even in North America, where JRPGs are hated.

Four million more on PS3 alone? Unlikely. Maybe combined with the 360 version (which will have lower sales imo), but on its own, unlikely, I think.

And if nobody expects the 360 version to sell well, they're pretty delusional.
