imageStarting on March 11, you can buy a standalone copy of Taiko no Tatsujin Wii. Namco Bandai is selling the game without the drum controller for 3,990 yen ($44).

This is for all of those people out there that bought a Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Do Don to 2-Da-Me drum bundle on the Wii, but missed out on the first game. That number must have been significant since Namco Bandai is re-releasing Taiko no Tatsujin Wii as software only.

Total sales of the two Taiko no Tatsujin Wii games have exceeded 1,000,000 units in Japan.

  • Nice, this is perfect! I’m one of the folks that picked up the sequel(with the drums) first, so a drum-less version of the first game is great, seeing as I don’t really need another drum controller.
