imageDon’t have a PSP, but want to play Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker? You can get Peace Walker bundled with a PSP-3000 at launch.

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced a Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP pack, which includes the game, a 2GB memory stick, Spirited Green PSP, and voucher to download a movie from the PlayStation Store. No, we don’t know what it is. Sony is saving that announcement for another day. This bundle also has a camouflage uniform with FOX logos and a stealth gun unlocked early in the game.

The Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker entertainment pack will retail for $199.99. While a far cry from the actual Peace Walker PSP, the Spirited Green color is new for North America.

Of all the bundles that came out in NA, this is the one I really like. I wish I’ve known about this sooner. I really like it. And all MGS bundle are awesome for me.

    hah!

    I’d rather have a hackable 1000 or 2000!

Hacking and stealing games is wrong. Since there is little purpose to hacking a PSP other then to play pirated software, then I fail to see how your comment has any real purpose. Pirates, bootleggers etc are scum and those who support them or what they do are not much better. I apologize in advance if you were joking.

Eh… I disagree with this. I have a CFW on my PSP-1000 but that doesn’t mean I steal games. You can create PSP versions of your PS1 games (that aren’t available for download on PSN), you can play emulators, homebrew software, homebrew games, you can even rip your UMD’s to the memory stick to have the best of both worlds (Case/Manual/UMD + Digital Copy). I own about 60+ games for the PSP, so you can’t really call people pirates just for using custom firmware. While you are probably right, that most people are just trying to play “free” games, don’t assume.

Damn. I totally wanted them to release that Japanese pack here… Argh! Still… I guess this would be the best PSP-3000 bundle to grab… (I own a PSP-1000 and have been meaning to upgrade…)

Not a fan of the color.

Where’s the artwork on the PSP? come on Sony. You guys did it for Chains of Olympus. Or is that only done for 1st party bundles?

Aww man, I already have a Vibrant Blue 3000 and a Pearl White 3000, not to mention my black launch 1000. I really had a hard time picking between the vibrant blue and the spirited green when I was importing, and now they bring over the color. I really wish I knew about this sooner.

It could be worse… you could have imported the Spirited Green instead of the Vibrant Blue… at least now you can (most likely cheaper than importing…) get that Spirited Green one too! :)
