La Pucelle Ragnarok Demo Now On PSN

By Spencer . March 25, 2010 . 9:38am

imageNippon Ichi released La Pucelle Ragnarok, a port of the PlayStation 2 game La Pucelle: Tactics, back in November 2009. Did you miss it?

Well, now you can give it a go and see if its worth buying. Nippon Ichi put a demo up on the PlayStation Store. Log in with a Japan region account to download the 39 MB file. Yes, its that small.

Classic Dungeon is next in line for post-release demo treatment with a trial version slated for next month.

  • Have it on PS2, but I’ll grab it on PS3 if it comes to North America.

PS3? I think your mistaken. It doesnt mention it in the atricle but this is a PSP game, not PS3.

  • Artavasdus

Good move, I hope those post-release demos manage to move some copies.

I am very sad for the sales failure of all recent NiS games on Psp (sadly Zettai Hero had a terrible drop in its second week, and this should stop its sales at around 35k X__x ), anything that can help them a bit is welcome.

It seems Badman 3D is doing ok though, or at least I think it is. It’s already at 50k, and the second week drop was not as bad as they usually are.

      • JeremyR

Badman 3D is a Sony game, NISA just publishes it in NA

        • malek86

Oh, right. For a moment I thought it was a NIS game.

  • nyoron

Cool, never liked La Pucelle all that much but I’m really looking forward to that Classic Dungeon demo!

“Log in with a Japan region account to download the 39 MB file. Yes, its that small.”

I never thought it would be larger. This is NIS we’re talking about. They’re still making games with the graphical quality of a PSX game on the PS3.

    • Artavasdus

It’s a Psp game’s demo, cut them some slack :P

  • Code

rar, I got it on PS2 brand new a few years back, it was worth every penny, all 900 of them!

  • Haha, I selfishly hope Classic Dungeon’s demo is even smaller—because I’m interested in trying it, but I’ve been too cheap and lazy to buy a memory stick larger than the 32MB one that came with my Deep Red value pack.

  • LastFootnote

You really had me going there, Spencer. I really thought you meant the North American PSN and that NISA had announced the game.

I think I’m about ready to finally give up on NISA, though. It’s back to competitive Pokémon for me.
