ss_0005_0324Just days after it was announced for Japan, Namco Bandai Games America confirmed Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 for the West with a bunch of screenshots. You can’t see this in the pictures, but Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 has a new power level. The Raging Soul system allows characters to reach a special state further increasing their combat abilities over nine thousand. Raging Blast 2 has over 90 characters, 20 of which are new for Raging Blast.

Not enough Dragon Ball? Namco Bandai also has Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team (pictured), a localized version of Dragon Ball Tag Vs., which crams 70+ characters on a UMD. This PSP game goes through the entire Dragon Ball Z arc in Dragon Walker mode and has new what-if situations in Battle 100 mode.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 and Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team are slated for release this fall.

  • cool this is goin to add more to my collection this year

Yep, this is all Namco Bandai America is good for.

    • This is the exact same reason why I keep on saying, “IT’S OVER 9000… times busy with Dragonball”.

  • Ha i knew it, what are tales games uh? does those games even exist?

    • Let’s e-mail Namco Bandai, urging to sell the IP to more competent hands, or trade IP’s. Heck, SEGA, outside of Japan, has been hands-off about Sakura Taisen AND Shining Force, while Capcom still has Breath of Fire shelved.

Seeing this instantly being announced by Bamco America instead of confirmation of localization of Tales Of Graces would make me mad, but over time I’ve stop trying to care.

Especially since Bamco announced the localization so fast, yet for Tales we have to wait and pray they decided they aren’t busy enough and will localize a Tales game. But I too am at the point of pretending there is no such video game series in existence, since then I don’t have to hold my breath only to be disappointed. :(

  • I really hope they push the story & make it longer. I hate having to play up to a certain saga, knowing there’s still plenty more to do
