Gorge On God Eater Burst Next Year

imageD3 Publisher and Namco Bandai are serving a full course of God Eater in the West. Instead of releasing God Eater and then God Eater Burst a few months later, we’re going straight to God Eater Burst.

Namco Bandai (European publisher) and D3 Publisher (North American publisher) confirmed God Eater Burst for release next year. God Eater Burst contains twice the number of missions found in the original God Eater plus a new scenario and extra weapons.

A few months for an enhanced version of God Eater? I’d say that’s worth the wait.

rar, I’d agree with that >w<

  • TNA_Lewis

…so wait, this is an enhanced version of the original? It sounds like a completely different game.

Do we get to play through the original story, or do we just get the new scenario?

    • Enhanced version – think of it as the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite version of Monster Hunter Freedom 2.

The North American version is not the append disc, so you’ll get God Eater (the original game) + everything new made for God Eater Burst.

…so the original storyline is still intact?

        • Yeshua49

Yes, there is the original story + a new story, in short is the same game with more stuff.

          • Whew, I’m glad that the original story is still intact or otherwise it would be lame. And this remind me of P3Fes, not the gameplay or the story.

Aww yeah. Let’s hope D3 is doing well with the localization.

  • Nice, this explains the recent delay.

  • Finally non-japanese Namco bandai does something right xD Cool!

  • maxdrive

I hope the name stays God Eater

  • God Eater looks really cool, so I’m stoked about this news, even though I already figured it was the case what with the delay and all.
