imageRemember when used copies of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 cost an arm and a leg? Today, you can get a digital version for less than $10.

$7.49 actually, if you jump on this half-off Marvel vs. Capcom 2 game code sale at Amazon.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is still $14.99 on PlayStation Network, but that may change if this is some kind of Capcom Comic-Con promotion. PlayStation Network updates later today.

Update: The sale is now live on PlayStation Network with a bunch of other price drops for Capcom titles like Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded, Capcom Classics Collection Remixed, and Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower. If you have a hankering for a flight sim check out After Burner: Climax, it’s is half-off too. Thanks Nite!

Oooh, I still have the Xbox game. I really should have sold it before the prices crumbled.

At $7.50 I thought I might as well buy it as at that price it seems somewhat worth it. Not a fan of DLC so this is actually the first DLC that I’ve purchased.

      This isn’t DLC, it’s a full game.

      • kupomogli

Full game or not, anything that is not a physical copy is DLC.

And what a waste of $7.50. I haven’t played MvC2 in awhile so didn’t realize how much I hated the crappy four button set up. I played arcade once offline all the while telling my friend how boring and repetitive it was. Afterwards I was decided that I might as well get online and see how badly I lose.

First DLC purchase I’ve made and I would have rather used the money to wipe my a**. Atleast the money would have had a use. Playing the game I was pretty much bored out of my mind. I can say that I already deleted it from my PS3. Sure I can just go to my downloads and redownload it again to play it, but more than likely I won’t. The reason I downloaded it is thinking I can play this or friends can play it when they come over, but if it bores me just playing arcade one time then I picked the wrong game.
