The Ys Seven limited edition includes a bunch of collectibles like a huge cloth map, soundtrack CD, and an art book that covers the entire Ys series. Let’s take a look at that shall we?

Xseed posted those photos of the 60 page art book on their Facebook page. Ys Seven comes out in North America next week.

    That was really fast!

Nah, I’ve had this thing on preorder for months.

      • kupomogli

I have also. Ever since they announced the Limited Edition.

  • Almost forgot about it! Gotta preorder it tomorrow.

  • Didn’t expect Adol to have such a nice bod.

I don’t know, but for me the special edition is too pricey.so I ask should I wait for the price to go down or should I get the normal edition? Is it worth the money for goodies or not? Can someone please help choose.,

    • It comes with an artbook, select OST, large map of the Ys games, the game itself, all in an oversized box (I’m assuming).

I don’t think it’s quite worth it, but I’m buying it in LE to support Xseed anyway.

You’re right. If my wallet were to sacrificed, for the sake of supporting xseed. then I’ll gladly do it, but I do expect ys vs sora no kiseki to be localized.

  • I think in Scandinavia it should be called Ys Sven.

  • Blazeddc

looking forward to an Ys that is longer that 15 hours. Can’t wait till next week.

That looks pretty cool. I can’t tell but I hope it’s a hard cover art book like the Ar Tonelico 1. Then it can have some Shelf Life. >_<

  • thebanditking

looking pretty good to me, XSEED’s stuff is always top notch so I’m not worried about the quality.

  • WonderSteve

Hopefully the Ys series and Trail of the Sky trilogy do well enough and XSeed will bring over Zero no Kiseki….

  • Great, THEY HAD TO SHOW A PAGE LIKE THAT…. now i want it even more

That’s a really nice LE package. Wish I could support XSEED, but I just can’t justify picking up another system when I’m drowning in games that I’ve bought and still haven’t played, let alone getting and supporting every game I think deserves it. :(

Any ways, I wish XSEED luck. I hope this becomes their centre piece like Disgaea is for NISA, and SMT is for Atlus.
